Beacon Rise Fellowship Brand Identity

Challenge:
The challenge was to distill Beacon Rise Fellowship's radiant mission into a visually striking logo and brand system. To blend the symbolism of a beacon of light with their ethos of fostering growth in the community.

I started with 15 "brand nouns"—words that align with the brand and help inspire imagery for the logo itself.
With these brand nouns in mind, I began sketching. I made 50+ rough sketches exploring different ideas based on the brand nouns.
With 50+ directions, the next step was to narrow down the best ideas to turn into vectors.
I vectorized 10 of these sketches to see them in action. I then narrowed down the top 4 to develop into a full brand system.
Next came building brand systems out of these.
